STREET STYLE  WE LEARNED FROM FASHION WEEK IN MOSCOW

Though we wrapped up fashion month with plenty of street style coverage (see our favorite looks from New YorkLondonMilan and Paris), we journeyed to Moscow for more outfit inspiration during the 34th season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia (#MBFWRussia), which just wrapped up in the nation's capital on Friday. With Eastern European designers like Demna Gvasalia and Gosha Rubchinskiy leading the cool-kid pack in the industry, we weren't too surprised to see the Russian city's fashion flock dressed in super stylish ensembles as well, from streetwear-heavy threads to high-luxe, Instagram-ready looks.
Read on to learn about the street style tips we learned from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.

PUT A BELT ON IT
This was a common trend among showgoers in Moscow, possibly because it's so simple and very cool. Here's how to do it: Take a belt — any belt — and wear it over your outfit. No, not through the loops of your jeans or jacket, your entire outfit. We spotted belts of all styles placed over coats, jackets and suits throughout the week.
If you haven't given fishnets a try by now, you probably should. (We've got some more helpful tips on how right here.) The accessory has been taking over every fashion person's wardrobe, so take advantage of it while you still can.
At Paris Fashion Week, everyone wore their coats or jackets the wrong way, and it seems to have infiltrated the Moscow street style set. In case you need some more inspiration, Russian model Sasha Panika has her own head-scratching take on outerwear.

THINK PINK IS THE NEW BLACK

If our 61 reasons why you will probably, definitely wear pink this spring hasn't convinced you yet, here's another one straight from Russia: Swap your black moto jacket with one in Tumblr pink for an instant pop of (on-trend) color.
