If you had a peek at our favorite bags from the Fall 2017 runways, you know there was a lot of good stuff going on in the accessories department this season —and ditto with shoes. Whether they were the platform boots clomping down a silent runway at Marc Jacobs, pumps with sculptural, jewel-like heels glinting at Dries Van Noten or chunky sneakers walking the desk-slash-runway at Fenty Puma by Rihanna, there were plenty of statement-making shoes from which to pick. And that doesn't even take into account the numerous glitter boot sightings that occurred all month. But it wasn't just flashy pieces that caught our eye: We also loved updated takes on simple classics, like Louis Vuitton's black-and-white Chelsea boots and the muted olive T-straps at Chloé.
